Piano Stairs

Fun does influence our behavior. Here’s a demo of how to make 66% increase in use of regular stairs over escalator. My Swedish fails me, but apparently this beautiful installation was created or at least sponsored by Volkswagen.

Now — some of our readers might have heard us preaching that if you create a location-based game, you can make decisions on where your players go. Want them to choose, say, Shop A over Shop B? It’s super-easy to motivate them through fun and play. LBG-based sponsorship is an untested but interesting business model for you, right there. ’nuff said.

    And their way of presenting their impact with video is powerful.

    Of course, I think novelty plays a very big role here, again. I’d like to know how the popularity of the installation developed, say, over weeks.
